Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
  • Perform EKGs and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
  • Report lab results to patients and follow up with physician instructions
  • Prepare specimens and paperwork for testing and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with office surgical procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in Patient Centered Medical Home Care Team collaborations and maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant program or certification/registration preferred
  • Previous experience working in a medical facility preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced confidential medical environment
  • Ability to lift, care, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, and to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
