Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Corporate Finance to provide timely, precise, and insightful analyses related to capital expenditures and treasury management.
  • Monitoring capital expenditures and assisting the accounting function in validating expenditures in compliance with GAAP.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly variance analyses and coordinating the creation of monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Generating trend reports for key metrics and proposing recommendations for enhancing analysis and overall performance.
  • Facilitating communication with the Director of Corporate Finance and the VP of Finance & Accounting, serving as a trusted liaison between finance and capital expenditure departments.
  • Preparing Excel analyses and PowerPoint presentations for executive and board-level audiences.
  • Coordinating with the accounting team to monitor cash balances and assess near-term operational cash requirements.
  • Reporting on current market data regarding treasury rates and formulating recommendations based on both internal and market data.
  • Assisting in the forecasting of five-year financial plans, including profit and loss, capital expenditures, depreciation, and interest.
  • Evaluating significant or unusual actual cost variances from the budget and collaborating with internal partners for necessary investigations.
  • Developing intricate financial models to assess the financial implications of various strategic decisions on the organization.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience within a major corporation or a division of a large enterprise.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles in a for-profit context, internal accounting controls, investment, and/or treasury functions.
  • Familiarity with database and accounting software systems to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Expertise in automated financial reporting systems, particularly Planful, along with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Proven experience in preparing executive-level presentations using PowerPoint.
  • This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring three days per week in the administrative office and two days from a home office.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration is required; a Master’s degree in accounting, cost accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary range: $107,000 - $155,209.67
