Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Hirose Electric USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting team and ensure timely completion of financial reporting and general ledger tasks.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and credit memos.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
