Job Title: Service Manager

Job Summary:

Louisiana Cat is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our Electric Power operations in Louisiana. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient shop operations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability.
  • Manage the Electric Power Service Department's P&L and conduct regular staff meetings to coordinate activities and communicate company strategy.
  • Develop and execute customer quotes for complex jobs and maintain effective communication with customers regarding service status.
  • Manage a preventive maintenance schedule for customers under PM contracts and oversee the work order process from opening jobs to final invoices.
  • Exemplify our Corporate Values of Safety, Loyalty, Commitment, Integrity, and Humility, and promote a positive sustainable safety-first culture.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant management or industry-related experience.
  • Exceptional communication, management, leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with vendors, Caterpillar Corporate, and other departments within Louisiana Cat.
  • Working knowledge of Caterpillar programs DBS, SIS 2.0, SMISi, and TMI, as well as other systems such as Service Link, Sales Link, and Salesforce.
  • Technical knowledge of engines, generators, control systems, automatic transfer switches, and paralleling switchgear.
