Myticas Consulting is seeking a skilled Multimedia Technician to provide expert technical assistance in the setup, maintenance, and support of audio-visual solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless multimedia experiences during complex events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve support tickets to deliver exceptional client service.
- Utilize established procedures to troubleshoot and escalate issues as necessary.
- Provide technical support for audio-visual, video conferencing, and teleconferencing systems of moderate complexity.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to address technical challenges.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of conferencing technologies, including video, audio, and network components.
- Coordinate scheduling and communications for video conferencing and AV events.
- Support multimedia recording functions and distribution processes.
- Contribute to the development of audio, video, and data conferencing solutions using various AV components.
- Oversee in-room camera operations for streaming events and provide on-site support for complex meetings.
- Consult with clients to ascertain technical requirements for events and execute setups accordingly.
- Enhance knowledge of emerging technologies for event production.
- Deliver training and consulting services on effective A/V equipment usage and prepare relevant materials.
- Document equipment failures and coordinate maintenance activities with AV suppliers.
- Identify and implement solutions for backup equipment needs proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent specialized training and experience.
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Intermediate technical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to assess and resolve advanced video-related connectivity issues.
- Solid understanding of AV infrastructure and its implementation.
- Proficiency in using OBS for live event streaming.
- Familiarity with various technology platforms, including webcams and streaming software.
- Ability to troubleshoot all technical equipment related to live broadcasts and streaming.
