Academic Opportunity in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine

The Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Institute are seeking a full-time physician for an outstanding academic practice opportunity in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient practice in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine
  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine
  • Participate in collaborative clinical research in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine
  • Consult on spasticity management, prosthetics, and inpatient rehabilitation
Requirements:
  • Completed residency in PM&R or Neurology
  • Board eligible or certified in PM&R or Neurology
  • Added certification in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine
  • Desirable: clinical research experience
