Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Producers
- Engage as a team with fellow Client Managers, Assistant Client Managers, and Client Coordinators
- Inform clients regarding coverage options, exclusions, and potential risks
- Assist clients in making informed coverage adjustments
- Design or assist in creating tailored insurance plans for clients
- Provide technical assistance to Producers
- Participate in client discussions alongside Producers as required
- Prepare Acord applications and submissions
- Conduct marketing efforts including pre-qualifying new business opportunities
- Evaluate market quotes to ensure coverage, forms, rates, and competitiveness
- Draft proposals for clients
- Bind renewals and new business accounts
- Renew policies within the Agency Management System (EPIC)
- Review and process policies
- Examine insurance requirements for client contracts
- Identify and rectify certificate deficiencies
- Follow up on activities
- Report claims and monitor their status until resolution
- Maintain strong relationships with clients
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Commercial Client Manager overseeing an independent book of business
- Possession of a current California Property & Casualty License
- Ability to understand and analyze various insurance coverages, forms, and policies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and confident
- Experience with EPIC is preferred
