**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to manage vendor relationships, purchase raw materials, and utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to meet our production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and Planning: Utilize MRP systems to forecast, plan, and manage the purchase of raw materials and components to meet our production requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best quality and cost efficiency.
  • Supplier Performance Evaluation: Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand product requirements and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
  • Purchasing Strategies: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or invoices in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in a manufacturing company, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • MRP Systems: Proven experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Raw Materials Knowledge: Strong knowledge of raw materials.
  • Negotiation and Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
