Job Description:

HITT Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring they meet HITT's quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in construction, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
