Job Description:

HITT Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with HITT's safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including creating and managing RFP packages.
  • Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and formulate monthly owner reports.
  • Establish job processes, including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders.
  • Perform project scheduling, ensure quality control, and establish overall project logistics.
  • Manage the closeout process efficiently and contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs.
  • Supervise assistant operations support roles, including assistant project managers, administrative assistants, and MEP managers.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents and site operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office and ProCore.
  • Mastery of reading construction drawings and ability to organize necessary resources to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions, including pricing conventions and trends.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to take initiative, seek responsibility, and demonstrate integrity consistent with The HITT Way and HITT's core values.
