Position Summary:
The Project Manager II at Prime Partners is tasked with ensuring that project commitments are fulfilled in accordance with industry benchmarks, overseeing financial outcomes, maintaining a secure work environment, and fostering robust relationships with both employees and clients. This position necessitates collaboration with diverse internal teams (including Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Administration) to enhance the overall customer experience. A solid foundation in physical security systems (including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection) and infrastructure is preferred. Additional certifications may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects and teams at both local and national levels.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor project teams.
- Manage all facets of project implementation.
- Execute project plans while ensuring quality control, financial viability, and adherence to timelines.
- Gather data, as-built drawings, images, and other deliverables for project completion.
- Authorize project timelines and timesheets.
- Outline all project tasks and resource needs.
- Comprehend installation techniques and commissioning for integrated systems, including Security, Audiovisual, Access Control, and Infrastructure Cabling.
- Provide regular updates on project status and challenges.
- Ensure project leaders conduct daily safety meetings and document outcomes.
- Offer guidance and support to Project Manager I to successfully execute projects and coordination tasks.
- Manage several smaller projects simultaneously, in addition to mid to large-scale client-specific initiatives.
- Collaborate with security manufacturers such as Hanwha, Avigilon, AMAG, Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Boon Edam, and Alvarado turnstiles.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable Project Management experience or relevant industry background to handle multiple projects with various clients concurrently.
- Self-driven with proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities to guide project teams to successful completion.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and leadership teams.
- Adept at identifying issues, gathering data, and drawing valid conclusions to pinpoint potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal sales, estimating, and engineering teams.
- Review technical drawings and other client-related documents to manage projects effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required for assigned client accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Must meet minimum driving standards, including a verifiable driving record in line with the company's Fleet Safety program.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for assigned client accounts.
- Ability to manage the physical demands associated with daily responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, consider ideas for improvement, keep others informed of progress, address challenges constructively, and respect workforce diversity.
Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write correspondence, and communicate effectively, preferably in English.
- Competent in basic arithmetic operations and proficient in interpreting data.
- Capable of defining issues, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions in situations with limited standardization.
