Position Overview

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Miami Lakes (Hybrid)

SUMMARY: The Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in formulating strategies for technical initiatives, leveraging expertise to address strategic opportunities that influence business objectives. This position collaborates with key stakeholders, technical managers, delivery managers, scrum masters, QA, and technical teams to conduct technical requirements analysis for vital functions, including application/product development and operations. Business Systems Analysts are responsible for mapping, analyzing, and documenting business processes, effectively bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities. The role focuses on optimizing existing data systems to yield valuable business insights and aligning data systems with operational processes through innovative technology solutions. Additionally, they identify solutions to enhance technological processes, thereby improving business functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with business analysts or key stakeholders to gather information on business requirements and translate this data into technical specifications.
  • Support business, product, and engineering teams in the implementation and delivery of new functionalities.
  • Design innovative technical solutions to address business challenges, execute configuration changes as necessary, and ensure quality and performance.
  • Assist data analysts in identifying data flows and capturing any technical challenges or opportunities.
  • Facilitate clarity and consensus among key stakeholders regarding organizational needs and gaps.
  • Support the end-to-end development of applications and assist in their implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade, simplify, or repurpose existing data systems.
  • Organize and clarify business requirements, pinpointing gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical language.
  • Assist in developing more efficient technology policies for the organization.
  • Generate periodic technical reports and ensure their accessibility to senior management.
  • Create necessary artifacts in compliance with TTMO Standard Operating Procedures to support internal and external audits.
  • Adhere to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering.
  • Comply with Bank policies and procedures and complete required training.
  • Identify and report suspicious activities.
EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience working with data and/or development teams is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE).

  • Ability to coordinate, manage, and document business, data, and technical requirements.
  • Proficient in extracting relevant data from systems to provide insights for business improvements.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist technical team managers in formulating more efficient technology policies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and perform in-depth technical research to establish capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Lucid Chart, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, development, and data warehousing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
  • Experience with data visualization, business intelligence, ETL, and other data reporting/engineering technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Bizzdesign or other Enterprise Architecture tools is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
