Surveillance Analyst 3

The Surveillance Analyst 3 will play a critical role in reviewing and analyzing account activity to detect potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud. This position requires a high level of expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and conducting in-depth research into customer accounts to identify suspicious patterns and transactions.

• Review alerts generated from the Bank's AML monitoring system and analyze questionable activity detected
• Conduct in-depth research into customer accounts and prepare reports to identify suspicious patterns and transactions
• Prepare SARs and other regulatory reports to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with account officers and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration)
• 7-9 years of experience in banking, with a focus on AML compliance
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA) certification preferred
