We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Medical Registrar to join our team at The Floating Hospital. This dynamic role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can deliver exceptional patient service and support the smooth operation of our front office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and families professionally, schedule appointments accurately, and verify insurance information efficiently.

  • Manage cash transactions, collect co-pays, and process sliding fee scale charges while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, and billing records, collaborating with the billing department as needed.

To excel in this role, you will need a high school degree or equivalent, at least two years of front desk/registration experience, valid NY state driver's license, and bilingual Spanish skills. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $58,000-$68,000, taking into account industry standards and the NYC cost of living.
