Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AVP Strategic Planning. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization's strategic direction, managing the portfolio of initiatives, and driving collaboration and change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning process across senior leadership forums, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and refine the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to inform strategic decision-making, developing and communicating strategic plans to ensure alignment and buy-in across the organization.
  • Own and manage the portfolio of outcomes and initiatives through the Book of Work process, driving prioritization of business goals and initiatives considering resource and financial constraints.
  • Ensure effective governance practices to monitor and track progress of initiatives, evaluating and optimizing the portfolio to ensure strategic alignment and maximize value delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving strategic objectives, fostering collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Drive change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives, utilizing strong financial acumen to make data-driven decisions and optimize resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, strategic management, or a related field, with a master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and leadership roles within a corporate setting, with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate strategic planning processes at a senior leadership level, with experience in change management and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
