Key Responsibilities:
• Operate radioscopic equipment to produce and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas.
• Assist in the diagnosis of patient illness by analyzing data from radioscopic equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
• Two (2) years of formal education/training beyond high school or an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Six (6) months of job-related experience.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Tech with the Society of Nuclear Medicine or certification with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
• Certification in CPR/BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
