Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Nuclear Medicine to join our team at Infojini Healthcare.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic studies in nuclear medicine, including imaging and preparing concentrations of radioactive isotopes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic studies in nuclear medicine, including imaging and preparing concentrations of radioactive isotopes.
- Operate and maintain nuclear scanning imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to foster comfort and confidence.
- Prepare and administer medications/substances within the technologist's scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Maintain quality assurance processes and radiation safety protocols to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Comply with regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
- Maintain documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats.
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a contract position with on-call duties every other week, Monday through Sunday. Weekday call is 4 pm-7:30 am, and weekend call is 4 pm Friday-7 am Monday.
Estimated Salary:$98,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Please note that this is an estimated salary range, and actual compensation may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
