Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper Office Manager to join our team at Harps Tarps. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Data Management: Obtain primary financial data for accounting records and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  2. Payroll Processing: Prepare and submit payroll to the Payroll company in a timely manner.
  3. Monthly Close Processes: Perform monthly close procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  4. Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Analyses and Reporting: Provide pricing and margin analyses, review sales tax collection, and prepare reports as required by management.
  6. Inventory Valuations: Manage inventory valuations and maintain accurate records.
  7. HR Duties: Assist with HR-related tasks, including computations and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have years of experience in a similar role, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • Skillset: Fundamental knowledge of GAAP, strong Excel skills, good communication skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Educational Background: Associates Degree or greater in bookkeeping or accounting is strongly preferred.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
