Office Administration and Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper Office Manager to join our team at Harps Tarps. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Financial Data Management: Obtain primary financial data for accounting records and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and submit payroll to the Payroll company in a timely manner.
- Monthly Close Processes: Perform monthly close procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Analyses and Reporting: Provide pricing and margin analyses, review sales tax collection, and prepare reports as required by management.
- Inventory Valuations: Manage inventory valuations and maintain accurate records.
- HR Duties: Assist with HR-related tasks, including computations and record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Experience: Must have years of experience in a similar role, preferably in accounting or finance.
- Skillset: Fundamental knowledge of GAAP, strong Excel skills, good communication skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Educational Background: Associates Degree or greater in bookkeeping or accounting is strongly preferred.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
