The Environmental Health and Safety Project Specialist will facilitate overall project management to support the execution and implementation of the Global Labs Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Team. Key Responsibilities:


• Formulate insightful recommendations to tackle intricate operational and strategic challenges.


• Assess the implications of proposed modifications, focusing on scalability and long-term sustainability.


• Develop project plans and foster consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.


• Manage cross-functional projects from conception to execution, including the design and composition of weekly reports and industry benchmarking.


• Assist the Global Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Team in the overall implementation and oversight of EHS processes.


• Establish and maintain systems to promote compliance, continuous injury reduction, and environmental performance.


• Mentor and train business partners in EHS responsibilities as necessary.


• Review internal EHS policies and practices, conduct job hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks as required.


• Maintain documentation systems for Environmental, Health, and Safety activities, including training records and hazardous waste manifests.


• Lead the floor warden team to organize meetings, maintain records, and coordinate training sessions.


• Update safety manuals, standard operating procedures, etc., to assist business partners supported by Global EHS.


• Sustain Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems.


• Conduct baseline assessments for EHS within the organization and among business partners supported by Global EHS.


• Provide assistance with environmental permits and related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Environmental, Health, and Safety is strongly preferred.


• High School diploma or GED is required.


• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an EHS environment, including electrical safety, is required.


• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.


• Highly motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.


• Ability to quickly learn and master new technologies.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
