Job Description

The Clinical Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing oncology patients in an ambulatory care setting undergoing chemotherapy and various other treatments. This role requires strong collaboration with physicians and APPs, allowing for nursing judgment and critical thinking to be utilized in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist and care for others, recognizing symptoms, drug properties, and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within the scope of practice.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: Respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high-risk or diverse patient populations, adjusting actions in relation to others and adapting to offer the best possible care to patients.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues, performing group presentations and listening to and understanding complex information and ideas.
  • Team Building: Work, function, and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required, one year of nursing experience in a specialty clinic or acute care setting, and oncology nursing experience preferred.
  • Certifications and Skills: Healthcare Provider BLS required, OCN or equivalent certification within three years of hire, and knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology.
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
