Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment, and maintaining accurate records under the direction of senior imaging staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining procedures and positioning patients as needed.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
