Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team in General Diagnostic Radiology. As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Set up and adjust equipment and devices to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible.
  • Pass ARRT boards within 6 months of date of hire if registry eligible.
  • 1 year job-related experience preferred.
