About the Role:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist I to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Set up and adjust MRI equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or ARRT recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Program
  • Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six (6) months of employment
  • Must pass the MRI ARRT registry within two (2) years of employment
