Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist Level I to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, setting up and adjusting related equipment, and maintaining related records under the direction of the Senior Imaging Staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Set up and adjust equipment, including positioning patients and using radiation safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible
  • 1 year of job-related experience preferred
  • Ability to stand constantly, walk and sit occasionally
  • Ability to lift/carry 0-10 frequently, 11-50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently, 21-75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to reach constantly
  • Ability to use hands for simple/firm grasping
