Promaxo, a leading medical imaging technology company, is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an RF Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge RF systems for our next-generation point-of-care MRI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new RF magnetic field sensor coils for MRI applications
  • Create schematics and layout PCBAs using Altium Designer software or equivalent
  • Work with fab and assembly suppliers to get boards fabricated and assembled
  • Optimize designs by doing circuit analysis and choosing parts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in the factory and from the field
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and electrical engineers to create industry-leading medical devices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant R&D lab experience or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience using standard electrical and RF test tools
  • Understanding of RF electromagnetic fields and antennae
  • Fundamentals in math and sciences: mechanics, electronics, basic electromagnetic theory, etc.
