Job Summary

MTech Mechanical is seeking a skilled Pipefitting Apprentice to join our team. As a Pipefitting Apprentice, you will assist experienced pipefitters in performing entry-level general pipefitting duties, including developing good working and safety habits, understanding terminology and tool usage, and attending apprenticeship training classes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laborer tasks, including sweeping, cleaning, delivering, loading, and unloading
  • Assist journeyman in all phases of work
  • Document employment hours
  • Read non-complex blueprints and detail drawings
  • Help install equipment
  • Perform tasks with supervision
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school graduate/GED
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn through on-the-job training and technical school courses
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
