Pipefitting Journeyman

As a Pipefitting Journeyman at MTech Mechanical, you will be responsible for performing pipefitting job assignments according to our safety standards and guidelines, while working within budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Meet all requirements of a 4-year apprentice
- Knowledge of all tools, equipment, and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the HVAC/piping industry
- Direct the activities of field crew members in accordance with job schedules and priorities
- Submit daily job progress reports to supervisors as required
- Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment
- Responsible for the accurate accounting of labor hours to the accounting department
- Responsible for instruction and on-the-job training of apprentices/crew members
- 4-year apprenticeship certificate or 4 years of field experience
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of pipefitting, construction practice, and safety procedures
- Working knowledge of all relevant national and local codes and company and industry standards
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, be able to reach overhead, work a full range of physical activity in various positions, and be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
