Insurance Sales Trainee Opportunity

As a Financial Representative Trainee at Mutual of Omaha, you will embark on an in-depth program designed to equip you with the skills and competencies necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products. This dynamic training includes a combination of self-study and hands-on-experience projects, all tailored to a structured curriculum.
Salary and Benefits
We offer an hourly wage of $16/hour for up to 30 days, with potential for promotion to a Financial Representative with a $36,000 annual base plus monthly sales incentive opportunity after successful completion of licensing and onboarding requirements. Our benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match, regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year, and 11 paid holidays in 2024.
Job Description
You will participate in classroom discussions, contribute to goal setting sessions, and progress evaluation meetings. You will demonstrate appropriate skills and pass a sales process competency test. As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will gain invaluable direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products to clients and cultivate strong relationships with internal business partners. Acquiring an in-depth understanding of our product offerings, demonstrating expertise in their features and benefits is essential for this role.
Requirements
To succeed as a Financial Representative Trainee, you must be able to successfully achieve the criteria of the Trainee Program. Ability to pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job is required. A highly self-motivated and results-oriented individual with ability to work independently and as part of a team is ideal for this position.
