The Role

The Regional Health and Safety Manager works closely with field management and outside agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety laws. This position is responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of the company's safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures focused on reducing hazards and minimizing accidents.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, coordinating corrections with on-site leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to create, revise, monitor, and administer safety procedures.
  • Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis processes to ensure quality, timeliness, and communication.
  • Review past accident reports to ensure action plans have been carried out.
  • Develop and implement training and awareness programs to ensure employees understand their roles and expectations regarding safety and compliance.
  • Develop regional plans of action to control or eliminate key loss sources, hazards, and implement corporate goals.

This role requires strong organizational and motivational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety/Risk Management.
  • Proven experience as a safety manager.
  • Understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
