Procurement Excellence at Refresco

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Refresco, a leading global independent beverage solutions provider. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting our supply chain strategic initiatives and driving cost savings through effective supplier negotiations and identification of cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate direct procurement activities through Refresco by proactive identification of new sourcing opportunities, leveraging knowledge of suppliers, supply chain teams, and other procurement category managers.
  • Manage direct supplier relationships, including supplier scorecards, monitoring contract terms and conditions, contract amendments, and resolving supplier issues as needed.
  • Aid in identifying vendors to procure commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, and delivery date, and place contracts.
  • Maintain communications with supply sources, follow up with daily activities, and assist category managers.
  • Interview sales representatives to develop new sources of supplies, securing favorable terms for Refresco, and update records and files.
  • Interpret and communicate purchasing procedures to departments, assist departments in initiating new supplier requisitions, and solve problems with orders.
  • Assist in resolving purchasing problems between plant and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field required; extensive experience may be considered in lieu of the appropriate degree.
  • One to three years of procurement experience preferably in food/beverage manufacturing.
  • Procurement within the manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
