About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at PEG Staffing & Recruiting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing new products and enhancing existing ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Utilize your expertise in mechanical design, technology, materials, and manufacturing processes to engineer solutions, create CAD models, and conduct rigorous testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with fellow engineers, manufacturing experts, and product managers to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify and resolve technical issues, and develop solutions for improving current product lines.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide technical guidance and support for product and prototype builds, and assist with machinery assembly when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred)
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in LEAN manufacturing is preferred
  • Skills: Experience working with complex equipment, structural design, design for X, fluid control, and component selection and sizing
