Key Responsibilities- Conduct Safety Inspections and Investigations: Conduct regular safety inspections and investigations to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all company operations comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements.
- Collaborate with Management and Employees: Work closely with management and employees to identify and address safety concerns, and to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and Analyze Safety Data: Collect and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and to develop strategies to reduce accidents and injuries.
- Associate's Degree or Equivalent: Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- Experience in Safety and Compliance: Minimum 4 years of experience in safety and compliance, including experience in conducting safety inspections and investigations, developing and implementing safety training programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Bilingual in Spanish: Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and external stakeholders who speak Spanish.
- OSHA Outreach Training Instructor (Construction): Certification as an OSHA Outreach Training Instructor (Construction).
- Current Certifications: Current certifications in safety and compliance, such as the Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) or the Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to job sites and other locations. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically outdoors, with exposure to inclement weather conditions.
