Job Title: Area Manufacturing Manager

Crown Beverage North America is seeking a highly skilled Area Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations throughout North America. Reporting to our Vice President, Operations, and working with senior business management, the successful candidate will have responsibilities as follows:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embedding a culture of safety, health, and well-being among employees and their families.
  • Directing and coordinating organizational operations to achieve established goals, objectives, and policies.
  • Managing productivity and quality metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency, while supporting Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Leading Operations managers to evaluate and take actions consistent with the Company and Division's overall strategy.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to shape, develop, and implement division strategy.
  • Providing strategic business development and key corporate planning advice to the VP, Operations.
  • Implementing improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI, increased cash flow, and workflow optimization.
  • Mentoring, guiding, and training direct reports and other employees throughout the operations.
  • Building a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on achieving World Class Performance levels in every aspect of the business.
  • Optimizing customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations and the highest levels of quality.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified professional in Operations Leadership with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Postgraduate education, including an MBA, is a plus. A minimum of 7 years of pertinent industry experience is required, with broad-based proficiency demonstrated in operations, finance, budgeting, project management, continuous improvement, quality, and safety.

We are seeking a results-driven individual with strong relationship-building skills, solid judgment, critical thinking skills, a sense of teamwork and community, the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, and high organization. The individual should possess superior people skills with a history of developing talent for progression within the organization.
