Job Overview

Our thriving home inspection firm, Habitation Investigation, is on the lookout for skilled home inspectors to join our expanding team in the central Ohio region.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid home inspector state license. While we prefer candidates already certified in Termite and Radon inspections, we offer training for those who need to obtain additional licenses or certifications. All inspectors are required to conduct termite, radon, and mold assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive home inspections.
  • Collect samples for testing.
  • Perform Wood-Destroying Insect (WDI) inspections.

Physical capability is essential, as the role involves lifting and carrying ladders, navigating roofs, and accessing crawlspaces. A reliable vehicle is necessary, as driving is a significant component of the job.

Desired Attributes

We seek individuals who are trustworthy, detail-oriented, and possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to learn new software and retain information is crucial. Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment drug testing, a criminal background check, and/or a general reference check.

Being bilingual is a plus.

Work Schedule

Our workload tends to be lighter during the Fall and Winter months, providing an excellent opportunity for training in preparation for the busier Spring and Summer seasons.
