Job Overview

At Unified Residential Management, we're seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing exceptional living experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Oversee site performance, including curb appeal, work order completion, and make-readies, to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and construction teams to ensure efficient communication, follow-through, and completion of tasks.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems, including heating, ventilation, and electrical systems, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to perform our duties effectively.
  • Schedule and participate in special projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance operations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations to protect our residents, staff, and the environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a multi-site maintenance supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems, including electrical, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management principles.
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school is a plus.
  • Professional certifications, such as CMRP or HVAC certified, are preferred.
