**Position Overview**
**Job Title:** Customer Experience Seasonal Associate
**Department:** Hope's Closet Arlington
**Reports to:** Customer Experience Manager
**Status:** Non-exempt, 29 hours weekly
**Objective**
To deliver outstanding customer service and assist in daily operations aimed at enhancing sales while maintaining the vision of Hope's Closet and The Church of Eleven22 as a movement for individuals to explore and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Share the gospel message
- Boost sales through exceptional customer service and uphold merchandising standards
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle financial transactions
- Support daily operations related to customer experience
- Assist with store opening and closing tasks
- Collaborate with and guide serve staff
- Help with receiving donations and sorting inventory as needed
- Ensure organization of inventory and supplies on the sales floor and at the cash wrap

**Education and Experience**
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or warehouse settings

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a part-time, non-exempt role reporting to the Assistant Manager - Customer Experience. Weekly schedules may vary based on store needs and events, with weekend and holiday availability required.
Our staff is encouraged to participate in significant events throughout the year to support the mission of The Church of Eleven22 and Hope's Closet. The stores will be closed during these events to allow our team to engage in the spiritual growth of the church.
**Work Environment**
This position operates in a professional retail setting, encompassing both sales floor and warehouse/stockroom environments. The role primarily involves working on the sales floor, utilizing equipment such as cash registers, store phones, hand carts, dollies, ladders, rolling carts, and racks.
**Physical Demands**
Must be able to stand or walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods, bend, lift, grasp, reach, push, and pull materials, navigate uneven surfaces, ladders, and stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs.
