Position Overview:
The mission of Helio Health, Inc. is supported by the Payroll Manager, who oversees all payroll operations. This includes ensuring the accuracy and punctuality of payroll processes and conducting payroll audits for approximately 1,500 employees.

The Payroll Manager is a Full-Time role based in our Executive Administration office.



Compensation:
Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000.00

Key Relationships:
The Payroll Manager reports directly to the Finance Director, keeping them updated on payroll matters and team workload.

This role requires supervision and guidance of the Payroll Team and collaboration with various departments including Finance, H.R., and Programs.



Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct payroll operations.
  • Implement and maintain payroll processing systems to guarantee timely and precise payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensure the timely approval and processing of timecards with accurate allocations.
  • Oversee the processing of payroll updates such as new hires and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations at all levels.
  • Facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Develop systems for efficient payroll transaction processing.
  • Ensure timely employee reimbursements through the payroll system.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll software and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor the payroll team.
  • Provide first-line support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation and payroll taxes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
