Job Description

SecuriGence LLC is seeking a skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our systems and software configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Use automated configuration management tools to implement configuration policies and procedures.
  • Identify configuration items, implement change control configuration processes and procedures, and conduct configuration audits.
  • Work on teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines.
  • Implement configuration management discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
  • Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other IT assets.
  • Track all problems and changes in product documents/software and report changes, controls standard operating procedures and current configurations.
  • Establish and maintain a Configuration Control Plan, adhering to configuration control standards for any changes.
  • Establish formal software development, code control, and build processes for major and minor (patches) releases and full integration.
  • Prepare documentation and progress reports for clients.
  • Manage and Utilize ServiceNow and other CM tracking tools as required by the customer and program management.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Configuration Management experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
