Job Title: Health Informatics Specialist/Clinical Application Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Informatics Specialist/Clinical Application Coordinator to join our team at Signature Consultants. This role will support the build, maintenance, troubleshooting, and education of VHA's legacy system (VistA/CPRS) configuration services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, manage, and optimize the VistA and CPRS systems
  • Execute all aspects of product delivery and design solutions
  • Establish test plans and scripts
  • Conduct assessments and perform data analysis
  • Create reports and communicate findings
  • Make design and functionality recommendations for new or modified clinical workflows
Requirements:
  • Experience with the VA Providing Informatics Support: Intimate technical understanding and expertise of VistA and CPRS
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to demonstrate specific technical understanding of consults, clinical procedures and orders, text integration utilities (TIU), and reminder dialogs
  • Expert in Development and Implementation of Health Informatics Solutions and Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Tools
  • Communication and Advisory: Experience updating and installing patches in virtual environments and ability to coach teammates in this capacity
