Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Clerical Operations Manager to join our team at SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to the Board of Directors.
About the RoleThis position will be responsible for managing public governing board support functions, including the development and maintenance of records and legal documents. You will also be coordinating meetings, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and coordinate the fiscal, personnel, budget, and other administrative functions of the Clerk team.
- Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and electronic.
- Coordinate travel requests and arrangements for Board Members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in public administration or a related field.
- Seven years of increasingly responsible professional experience in managing public governing board support functions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
