Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing venipuncture procedures, collecting blood specimens, and processing samples in a busy OBGYN clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture procedures
- Process samples, including spinning and centrifuging, and freezing or sending out samples as required
- Update patient charts and perform data entry
- Verify billing and insurance information
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy schooling completed
- At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and processing
- Comfortable with processing samples, including spinning and centrifuging
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Experience with computer systems
