Job Title: Communications Manager Part-time

Colorado State University is seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at the Center for Collaborative Conservation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and disseminating communications materials for all Center initiatives, including newsletters, social media, special publications, and website maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and disseminate communications materials for the Center, including e-newsletters, social media content, and website updates.
  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content to promote the Center's initiatives.
  • Maintain the Center's WordPress website and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Develop and implement special communications projects as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor a work-study intern.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a conservation-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience facilitating collaborative activities and organizations.
  • Commitment to diversity in conservation, including in the workplace and with partners.
  • Experience with graphic design and communications platforms, including Canva and WordPress.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience supervising education and/or mentoring student interns.
  • Direct experience with the Center for Collaborative Conservation and knowledge of our major initiatives.
