Job Overview:

As a Bistro Service Associate, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of functions including guest interactions, room service, table service, counter service, deliveries, and additional support tasks. You will uphold the standards set by Courtyard Marriott to ensure exceptional service quality and foster a cooperative atmosphere within the bistro.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver bistro services such as counter service, barista tasks, food running, table service, room service, and deliveries
  • Manage bistro setup and teardown in accordance with daily checklists
  • Stay updated on menu selections, happy hour specials, and local happenings to assist guests effectively
  • Comply with Quality Assurance and Health Department regulations
  • Aim for guest satisfaction by providing exemplary service
  • Complete cleaning responsibilities, attend team meetings, and share ideas for operational improvements
  • Maintain appearance standards, exhibit a positive demeanor, and address guest issues promptly
  • Enhance productivity, reduce waste, and propose strategies for revenue enhancement
  • Ensure cleanliness in work areas and adhere to safety protocols
  • Participate in TIPS training and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
Daily Responsibilities Include:
  • Accurately processing orders via phone, room service, and deliveries
  • Delivering exceptional service in line with Marriott and departmental standards
  • Monitoring food waste and ensuring bistro cleanliness
  • Engaging in meetings, following green initiatives, and adhering to protocols
Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in the restaurant industry is necessary.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience is preferred.
