We are currently seeking a dedicated and career-focused Program Manager / Principal Engineer to support a significant government initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the comprehensive planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and technology initiatives that are critical to agency needs.
- Manage large, multi-year programs divided into various sub-programs and tasks.
- Define and guide the overall program structure, including short- and long-term strategic plans.
- Formulate and direct the technical approach while collaborating with agency personnel to secure necessary resources.
- Establish and monitor technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Collaborate closely with other program leaders to address and resolve technical performance challenges.
- Provide regular updates on program status and develop innovative solutions to complex contract requirements and operational challenges.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring multiple teams and large projects.
- Over 10 years of experience in C4ISR projects with significant contributions in cybersecurity areas such as compliance, software assurance, and security engineering.
- Experience leading CS/IA engineering design efforts and supporting significant working groups within the Department of the Navy and Department of Defense.
- Three years of experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related Navy processes and standards.
- 6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity workforce development and project management.
Education and Certifications:
- Master's degree along with certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Frequent operation of office equipment, including computers and printers.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
The projected compensation range for this position is competitive and based on various factors, including relevant experience, skills, and geographic location.
