Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them in a timely manner
  • Follow maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed according to established guidelines
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Requirements
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the proper use of power and hand tools, with good working knowledge of the use of a lathe, milling machine, drill presses, etc.
  • Must have good working knowledge of electrical theory and circuits and the ability to diagnose electrical problems
  • Must have experience with Bobst, Saber, and Nordson equipment
  • Must have good organizational and planning skills and be able to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to regularly repair mechanical equipment to OEM standards or to specifications set by the department manager
  • Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math
  • Must work in a safe and professional manner and communicate issues back to the department manager
  • Must be able to work well with others as well as independently
Work Environment
  • Work performed in a shop environment
  • Exposed to hot and cold temperatures
  • Regularly exposed to dust, odors, fumes, and noise
