We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our Neurosciences team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients on our 24-bed neurosciences unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient progress to healthcare providers and family members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
- CPR - Basic Life Support
