Vector Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to play a key role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within the Company. This position involves producing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, on a GAAP and Proforma basis, along with monthly analytics for each member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The successful candidate will also be responsible for assessing and analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide valuable insights to support the execution of the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports for management and other stakeholders, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze and present financial information in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making, including variance analysis and recommendations to address any deviations from the financial plan.
- Budget Planning: Drive the annual budget planning process by managing the flow of information to and from each of the functional business lines, including providing insightful analysis to improve the planning process and the quality of the information used in planning.
- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business decisions, offering financial insights to assist in the evaluation of potential investments, cost-saving opportunities, and growth strategies.
- Forecasting: Build and refine forecasting methodology across all functional business lines, working closely with business partners to gather relevant information and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Financial Modeling: Build detailed financial models to support project-based initiatives related to capital structure, product rollouts, and process improvements.
- External Reporting: Support recurring external reporting at the lender and investor level.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities, implementing improvements to streamline financial analysis and reporting procedures.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft products.
- Dynamic Work Environment: Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
- Financial Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Accounting/Public accounting, financial reporting, lender reporting, and detailed financial analysis, in progressively senior FP&A positions.
- GAAP and Proforma Reporting: Working knowledge of GAAP and experience with Proforma reporting.
- Technical Skills: Prior experience working with NetSuite and Adaptive.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic and critical thinking.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, along with CPA, CMA, or other certifications preferred.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a growing technology or eLearning SaaS organization preferred.
