ROLE INTRODUCTION

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. This position involves a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly cleaning guest accommodations, including cabins and communal spaces, ensuring they are ready for guests.
  • Performing tasks such as dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, changing linens, and managing waste disposal.
  • Conducting laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Assisting guests with inquiries and requests, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance guest experiences and achieve operational goals.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintaining a clean and inviting environment throughout the property.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is expected.

TEAM STRUCTURE

The Housekeeper will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and work alongside a dedicated team.

  • This role requires standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.
  • Physical demands include lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision capabilities necessary for this position include close and distance vision, as well as depth perception.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • At least one year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role

The hospitality environment is dynamic, and team members may be required to assist with various tasks beyond their primary responsibilities. We value a proactive and adaptable approach to teamwork.
