Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize territory and company objectives
- Analyze sales and marketing data to identify key opportunities in the territory
- Establish relationships with customers and understand their corporate dynamics, key issues, and concerns
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems to input customer data and track sales activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop training and education programs for customers
- Conduct seminars, presentations, and training sessions for customers
- Attend industry events and symposiums to stay up-to-date on trends and developments
- Provide accurate forecasting and sales funnel activity to the Regional Sales Manager
- Maintain account records and track calls in CRM
- Submit reports and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Four-year college or university degree preferred
- 2+ years of medical sales experience preferred, with a strong background in prospecting, cold-calling, and closing new business
- Knowledge of selling into the acute sector and wound care or advanced wound care
- Distribution experience a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to plan and organize time, schedules, and effective use of company resources
- Experience with CRM systems and customer contact database applications
