About the Role

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Technical Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, including clear milestones and task assignments, to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create, update, and distribute project documentation, including contact lists, schedules, meeting summaries, and action item lists, to ensure effective communication and visibility.
  • Resource Management: Utilize department-specific information systems, software applications, tools, and templates to manage resources, ensure consistency, and provide visibility to milestone dates and project status.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to personnel responsible for the project, participate in weekly meetings to provide direction, advise project status, delegate actions, and successfully execute project requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify, propose, and participate in the development of process improvements to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the key liaison and business partner to clients at both the project management and executive level, as needed.
  • Mentoring and Development: Provide mentoring to less experienced staff and identify resource needs, manage resource time allocation, and hold team members accountable to deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Business Administration disciplines is required; MBA preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and project management skills.
